About the project

The Instabuy website redesign aimed to fix long-standing usability and performance issues while aligning the platform with the company’s new positioning as a scalable e-commerce solution for supermarkets.

The old website struggled with slow performance on mobile, complex navigation, and outdated visual design, resulting in high bounce rates and low vendor conversion. With 74% of visitors coming from mobile devices, users often abandoned the site before completing any action and the content no longer reflected the brand’s evolution.

The challenge

The previous site had grown organically over time, with disjointed sections, inconsistent flows, and redundant information. Conversion forms were difficult to complete, and vendors often dropped off before finishing registration.

From a UX perspective, the biggest challenge was to rebuild trust through clarity and speed — removing friction points, reducing load times, and creating a responsive interface that worked seamlessly across devices.

The solution

We executed a mobile-first redesign focused on improving navigation, restructuring content, and optimizing load times. Every page was reorganized based on behavioral data and business priorities, ensuring faster access to key information for both B2C and B2B users.

- Optimized Forms: Shorter, more intuitive registration and contact forms to increase submission rates.

Additionally, we collaborated closely with the development team to optimize code delivery and caching strategy, which further improved site speed and responsiveness.

Results

Even without full post-launch analytics, qualitative tests and early reports from the client confirmed major usability improvements and a visible drop in user frustration.
